While the Walled Lake Fireworks have come and gone (the Walled Lake Fireworks show was hosted on Saturday, June 24th, at 10 p.m. in conjunction with a downtown beach party from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.), there are still plenty of fun ways to spend the 4th of July in Walled Lake.
If you absolutely must have fireworks on July 4th and you missed the display in Walled Lake, these four cities are within an hour of Walled Lake and are all offering fireworks displays on the 4th, including Huntington Woods, Clarkston, Holly, and Clawson.
If fireworks aren’t your style, but you still want to get out of the house, we at Shuman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram—as car aficionados—recommend packing up the car with a cooler, some lawn chairs, and your family and friends and heading to the USA Hockey Summer Drive-In in Plymouth to catch a movie on one of the three screens.
To be more active for July 4th, consider taking your family to the Adventure Park at West Bloomfield. There, you’ll have the climb of a lifetime–just be sure to make reservations in advance.
