Families Flock to the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

If you’ve ever driven around in a suburban environment, you’ll probably find that you’re seeing these Jeep Wrangler Unlimited SUVs popping up everywhere! The four-door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited now accounts for 60% of Wrangler sales and seems to be targeting a niche market, families.

Since its debut in 2007, the four-door version SUV has over taken sales and driveways as drivers of the two-door Wranglers begin to partner up and start to have families. Additional children mean additional passengers and sometimes you need more than a two-door Wrangler to accommodate your needs – thus an upgrade to the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.

 

“The audience for Unlimited models are the adventure-seeking types with families who didn’t want to sacrifice off-road performance but needed a vehicle with more space for their family and gear,” says Patrick Hespen, a Jeep communications representative. He goes on to explain that “the vehicle’s image is one of the top considerations when purchasing a Wrangler.”
