The magazine Fast Company recently included the Dodge brand in its “World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies.” Dodge came in at number 11.
Fast Company selected Dodge as one of the best “for being part of the conversation, no matter what.” It also heaped praised on Dodge for its recent marketing campaigns, including the Ron Burgundy commercials for the 2014 Durango. Those ads alone boosted sales of the SUV by 59 percent in October.
“Muscle cars to multi-passenger vehicles, Dodge gives you performance and technology with an attitude and presence that transforms an everyday vehicle into a personal statement,” said Tim Kuniskis, president and CEO of Dodge, in a statement. “In an industry that is getting more and more commoditized, we capture this brand attitude and swagger in our marketing recipe to spark conversation and consideration.”
Dodge was one of only two automakers to make the Top 50 list. The other was Tesla Motors, which came in at the number 20 spot.
