The U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the Dodge Viper has been reevaluated and is currently being lowered by $15,000 to create a more affordable Dodge Viper. This new price reduction would leave the 2015 Dodge Viper base model pricing to start at $84,995. In 1992 when the Viper was first introduced, the sleek sports car had a starting price of $50,700, a price that when adjusted for today’s inflation would sit at $86,130.
Now you may think it unfair to previous buyers of the 2013 or 2014 Viper (all 5th generation models), but Dodge has that covered as well. They will be offering a $15,000 certificate to all Gen 5 Viper owners toward the purchase of a new 2015 Viper, on top of the new $15,000 discounted price, creating an even more affordable Dodge Viper! All of the current 2014 Vipers in inventory will be changed to show the price drop as well.
“We have a saying at Dodge: ‘If you know… you know,’ and if you know Viper, you know this is big news,” Kuniskis added, “and if you don’t know Viper, it’s time to check it out and see what makes owning and driving the iconic Viper so much more unique, exclusive and interesting than any other American performance vehicle.”
