As part of a new 2015 Dodge Challenger ad campaign, you can now go back in time and join John and Horace Dodge as they celebrate the success of their brand new company—Dodge Brothers Motor Car. The new ad campaign, which is titled “Ballroom—They Dreamed Big,” is a new television spot for the 2015 Dodge Challenger that brings the Dodge brothers back to life.
“Dodge has a very specific DNA, a bloodline that traces back to the Dodge brothers’ passion for making great cars,” said Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer for Chrysler Group. “The new campaign captures the spirit of innovation and enthusiasm the Dodge brothers had when they founded the brand 100 years ago. Everything Dodge does today honors John and Horace Dodge’s legacy. Their spirit lives on through this campaign and the Dodge vehicles of today.”
The commercial features a rousing celebration, filled with flappers, drinking, and even a bit of shot glass bowling. As the jazz hands and drinks commence, a voiceover describes how the brothers came to create the now 100-year-old company, ending with a shot of the new 2015 Dodge Challenger nestled amongst two 1915 Dodge Touring cars.
