FCA US vehicles swept this year in Strategic Vision’s 20th Annual Total Quality Index™ (TQI). In total, six FCA vehicles took top spots in their segments, more than any other automaker. Most notably, the Dodge Durango took first place for the third consecutive year, while the Dodge Charger and Jeep Wrangler Unlimited took top spots in their respective segments for the second year running.
Other segment leaders include the Dodge Challenger, Fiat 500, and Fiat 500e.
Strategic Vision’s Total Quality Index surveys more than 46,000 vehicle owners of new 2015 model year vehicles, covering more than 155 aspects of the customer experience, including problems with the vehicle, reliability, driving excitement, and other emotional measures. Based on consumer responses, the Strategic Vision index offers a look at the entire vehicle ownership experience.
“This is the first time FCA has ranked highest in the 20-year history of the Total Quality Index and were honored to receive this award,” said Matt Liddane, Vice President of Quality for FCA North America, in a news release. “Our unwavering commitment to the highest level of quality as a company is being recognized on a national level while our world-class vehicle lineup continues to attract new customers as well as those who have been purchasing our products for years.”
