Recap: CDJR at the Detroit Auto Show

Ram Trucks at NAIAS 2016

The North American International Auto Show in Detroit is always one of the best-attended automotive events of the year. This time, there were even more reasons than usual to check out the lineup on display at the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram booths.

The star of the 2016 show was the all-new Chrysler Pacifica, the replacement for the Town & Country. It’ll launch later in spring and offer families an even better minivan experience than ever before—with a hybrid option.

One of the hottest vehicles on display was the Dodge Viper ACR, a production car that runs laps around the competition—literally. It has set new records at 13 tracks in the United States alone, including Laguna Seca and Road Atlanta.

Four custom rides highlighting Mopar accessories were also present in Detroit, including the Jeep Wrangler Red Rock Concept, Ram Rebel X, Dodge Charger Deep Stage 3, and Chrysler 200S Mopar.

Additionally, families could head into the UConnect Game Center or the Clean-Up Zone to learn more about features of the Pacifica, like the backseat entertainment system or the optional vacuum.
