Jeep® Wrangler Celebrates a Decade of Domination at SEMA

With last month’s 10th consecutive award victory at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the Jeep® Wrangler has now dominated this auto industry event for an entire decade.

Put on by the Specialty Equipment Market Association, SEMA spotlights a wide range of customized auto parts — and its exhibitors hand out awards to the vehicles that most effectively show off these components.

For 10 straight years, the Jeep® Wrangler has been named the 4×4/SUV of the Year in SEMA exhibitor voting. In this setting, the Wrangler is beloved for how easy it is to customize with both appearance accessories and special all-terrain equipment.

For this year’s show, a customized Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon took part in a 15,000-square-foot display of Mopar brand parts along with 14 other vehicles. Mopar is the official parts and service brand of FCA, selling a wide range of accessories to both dealerships and individual customers.

“It’s no surprise that SEMA Show exhibitors voted the Jeep® Wrangler the 4×4/SUV of the Year,” said Chris Kersting, the president and CEO of SEMA. “With so many options available, the Jeep® continues to be a favorite for personalization. Its versatility is limitless, appealing to daily drivers as well as off-roaders.”
