Chrysler Unveils New Performance Dodge Dart

It’s just recently been announced that a Mopar version of the 2013 Dodge Dart has been revealed. Mopar is the in-house tuning division for Chrysler. The majority of the efforts from Mopar are focused on creating limited-production, performance cars based on the vehicles that are currently being produced for the public.

Other one-off versions in the portfolio include the Mopar 2010 Dodge Challenger, Mopar 2011 Dodge Charger and Mopar 2012 Chrysler 300, and the most recent Mopar creation is the 2013 Dodge Dart.

You can’t have a Mopar car without added performance capabilities! So Chrysler went ahead and incorporated a powerful 1.4-liter MultiAir inline four-cylinder engine, which pounds out 160 HP and 184 lb-ft of torque. Like the original version, the Mopar Dart has a sport-tuned exhaust system and a six-speed manual transmission for that racecar feel. Differences include improved braking system as well as a new power steering calibration.

Similar to the previous Mopar editions, the Mopar Dart bears an eye-catching Pitch Black exterior along with a painted set of racing stripes, offset from the center on the driver’s side. Its gloss black 18-inch wheels, chin and decklid spoilers and a rear diffuser help the new Dodge Dart stand out even more.

Even the interior is pretty impressive, with its blue leather driver’s seat with black accents, and other black leather seats with blue accents. With this car, you’re sure to turn heads. The starting price of the new Mopar 2013 Dodge Dart is $25,485 and you can order it now from Shuman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
