Drive for the Kids Gives $5,000 for Outstanding Fundraising

A number of schools around the country have been participating in the Drive for Kids TM fundraising efforts encouraging community members to take a test drive of a Chrysler brand vehicle, like the new 2013 Chrysler Town & Country minivan. For each test drive at a specified local dealership, the school would receive a $10 contribution. Thanks to their extra efforts and excellence in fundraising, 5 schools received and extra $5000 from Drive for the Kids.

“The Chrysler brand’s Drive for the Kids program continues to work toward enriching the educational foundation of our schools across America,” said Al Gardner, President and CEO of the Chrysler Brand. “Awarding an additional amount of $5,000 to each of the five schools that exceeded expectations at their local Drive for the Kids fundraiser is our way of thanking the school representatives and active parents, in addition to local dealerships, who all worked together to organize the fundraiser within their local communities.”
